Second day of classes, yo.

I forgot to take a picture the first day. Again. But that’s ok because I wasn’t as cute yesterday as I was this morning.

Bow. Tie. \m/ …I figured it was far too hot for collared shirts but I really wanted to wear my bowtie to my first Tolkien class so I did it anyway and I decided it’s really cute like that. Anna’s day = made. …andandand TOLKIEN CLASS. I can’t grasp the awesomeness. I just…I can’t. O_O …I’m also finding it equally impossible to grasp the huge amount of reading we have to do for that class between now and Friday morning…

I would also like to inform you that I no longer look this nice. Looking this nice is actually going to be sort-of rare on Mondays and Wednesdays. Now I’m wearing gross sweaty dance stuff because Jazz and Tap and Folk/Social/Swing (epic. sauce.) happened.

Honestly I still can’t figure out why I signed up for Jazz and Tap. Back to back. What the heck was I thinking…*shakes head* I’m a bunhead for goodness sake, I don’t…TAP! -_-

Actually Tap was waywayway more fun than Jazz though. Jazz I just flat-out dislike a lot. Not quite hate. I haven’t done enough of it yet to say I hate it. But I have a feeling that is the direction it’s heading in…-_- *facepalm* someone remind me next semester not to do this.

Also I feel like taking Jazz and Tap right in a row, then Folk/Social/Swing dance a couple hours later is probably going to turn out to be a not-so-good thing for my foot-that-was-injured-two-years-ago-and-never-really-got-all-the-way-better.

Ah well. Such is life. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Right? …right…?

and on another unrelated note, I don’t know what I’m doing with my life and I need to stop taking fun classes because they make me go “wait maybe I should major in this O_O <3” and then I start wanting to be a linguist again and study Old English poetry and read Anglo Saxon for fun and take Medieval History classes all the time and TOLKIEN. …*sigh*…stupid dance. stupid english. stupid me. I really don’t want to declare my major because it means I have to choose something. And really all I have ever wanted to do with my life is study Tolkien until there’s nothing left to study and then start over again, and do a little photography on the side, and take as many dance classes as I can forever. But there’s no major called Reading-Tolkien-Taking-Dance-Classes-And-Photography.

COLLEGE IS DUMB.

I mean seriously I don’t want a major I just want to learn cool things and dance. And read Tolkien, which is actually something I’m passionate about. Is it or is it not exceedingly lame that the only way to do things you’re passionate about is to get enormously in debt trying to pay for a “college experience” when really all you’re interested is a very small handful of classes?
