[some of] My Life Goals. …at least in my fantasy world?

Because I’m bored. In no particular order. Except the first one.

  1. Get married. Have kids. Raise family.
  2. Own a Golden Retriever when I grow up. And a Border Collie…who will be named Tess. </3
  3. Teach on TPS. <– this would…pretty much make my life.
  4. Go to New Zealand.
  5. Live near enough to my friends to be able to actually see them. *is so done with long-distance relationships -_- LAME* this one may be hard IF ONE OF THEM KEEPS INSISTING ON LIVING IN TURKEY FOR GOODNESS’ SAKE. Hmph. ;)
  6. In conflict with the above: Live in Vermont for as much of my life as possible. Unless I visit New Zealand and just never come home…
  7. Make a full- or 3/4-circle cloak. An epic, functional one. AND WEAR IT EVERYWHERE. Like a boss.
  8. Learn to shoot a bow. And acquire one of my own. To go with mah cloak. =D
  9. Grow my hair out almost long enough to sit on.
  10. Write something that’s actually…good. And get it published (or self-publish).
  11. Sing. Like with a band. Or on the stage. (musicals? O_O OPERA??? O____O drat, shoulda started ten years ago…)
  12. See a Celtic Woman concert. And sit in the front row.
  13. Learn to ride well enough that I can go do it all by me onesie. \m/
  14. Own an Icelandic horse or two…or ten. =D
  15. Have a black cat named Queen Beruthiel. Oh the irony.
  16. Learn German and visit my Sis who will hopefully (butreallynothopefullyIwanthertostayhome-_-)  be at Grad school in Germany.
  17. Learn to swing dance.
  18. Meet Ann Voskamp, Renee Fleming, and RIVER SONG. Yes I just said that.
  19. Start a little from-the-wings dance photography business. <3 And/or own a little used book store. THIS WOULD BE PERFECTION. =)))
  20. Teach myself Elvish. Find someone else who’s as nerdy as me so I can write them letters in the Elvish alphabet (not necessarily in Elvish itself. It’s not a complete language, and it would probably take me a decade to learn enough of it to be able to speak or write it fluently. =P Just English in Tengwar works.)

…I totally read something or heard something somewhere about a couple who exchanged love letters in Elvish before they got married. WHY CAN’T I MEET COOL GUYS WHO WRITE ELVISH. …*cough*…*grins*…*practices my Tengwar just in case* ;)

Ok I need to stop dreaming and get back to…life. =P

i.e. DOCTOR WHO AND LORD OF THE RINGS AND THE SON OF MY BOSS LOOKS LIKE AN ELF. in case anyone cares.

*is jealous* 13 would be so awesome. I’ve sorta done 20, except I’m not proficient. At least I’ve got a friend to write letters to in Elvish, though. =)

*ahem* how much will you pay me? ;) hehehe =P I would have made myself one lonnnggggggg ago, only decent fabric is so. crazy. expensive. And a full-circle cloak would take a TON of fabric. =P

*grins* Someday, I want a large flowing jet black cloak with a deep hood.

…of course, I might freak people out a little. I’d look like a black rider or a dementor. =P But still a cloak like that would be epic.

      2. I would pay you in chocolate. *grins* Although, it might melt on the way from California to Vermont. . . :P
And I agree with Jacob; jet black is the way to go. :D

Nonononono. you want one the color of the Fellowship cloaks *nods* That way you blend in, AND look Elvish. =) Not black. Hmph. Then you look like a Nazgul. *grin*

…I really hope growing your hair out long enough to almost sit on is not one of them…o_O And I really hope that living in Vermont IS one of them. =D Do you realize how much that would rock? We would be dangerous. \m/ …although. Given the fact that snow exists, I doubt that’s one of your goals…-_- hehe =P

I want a letter in Tengwar next time I write you. If you want, I could write this next one in Tengwar . . . it would be good practice, and you could see if I do it right. And I love these . . . especially 3 and 8. *dislikes living in the suburbs for one reason only–she doubts bows and arrows are allowed*

Lol! That can be negotiated…*grins* ;) Though I’m writing in Quenya tengwar, rather than Sindarin (so putting the vowels over the consonant they *follow*, rather than the one they come *before*. Up and left rather than up and right). Because that way I can write the letters in the same sequence they are in English rather than writing the consonant and then jumping backwards to the vowel. If that makes any sense at all. It’s faster to write =P But. Yea. Fyi. In case you care. XD *grins*
Andandand we should totally try this. =D …though. my normal handwriting is horrid enough…I dunno how you’ll be able to decipher my Tengwar. ;)

Yeah, I understand the Quenya/Sindarin thing. And Quenya definitely is easier to write. If the Tengwar you normally write is anything like the sheet you sent me in your last letter, I’ll read it sooo easily (referring to my sheet for several consonants). That was . <3333

        K. I wasn’t sure. I lost my mind a while back, you see, and it hasn’t returned yet…
Um. Well. The stuff I wrote on the last letter was like. Fancy-ish Tengwar. That I was careful to make readable. The stuff I’ve been writing in my journal is like…not as fancy because I wasn’t trying to make it look pretty…idk. XD *ahem* Maybe we vbetter do a test run first and make sure you can read my writing…O_o or else we could have a problem. *grins*

*Anna sends Grace an epic long letter in Tengwar. Four days later she gets a reply from Grace: her same letter mailed back to her with an attached note – “Sorry. I don’t reed ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. Or Arabic. I hope this wasn’t important.” Anna then becomes a hermit and writes Tengwar on the walls of her cell all day for the rest of her life trying to perfect her technique.*

*ahem* I hope you did not intentionally just insult my spelling skills. :) Yeah, a test run would prolly be good. So…let’s say I write a paragraph in Tengwar in my letter and you write one in yours, and if we’re good, we’ll try full-length. :)

Epic. I’m for it. =D Hehe, I can write it pretty fast now once I get on a role.Reading it is a different matter, though. XD This will be good practice. =D

I LOVE that website. =P I’ve stalked it many times, wishing for the means to make THEM ALL. XD I want one. O_O Although the fellowship cloaks are like half-circle cloaks so they don’t wrap all the way around you. So I actually want TWO: a fellowship version for going fancy places and dressing up (or for when it’s hot out), and a big awesome swirly one for everyday use…=D
