Unable to see beyond the useless mess you view yourself as.

Captivating, overpowering.
Filling you with a terrifying urge to do…nothing.
Unable to reach out from the bonds that hold you tight.
Failure.
Gloating, destructing.
Filling you with the same fear that dictates your life.
Unable to move, to act, to seek the future in store for you.
Frozen.
Stagnant, dying, dead.
Frozen by two words.
Controlled by two small syllables.
“What if?”
What if it doesn’t work? What if something bad happens? What if I mess up? What if I do the wrong thing?
…What if I fail?
No.
My question for you is…
What if you don’t?
What if you’re only one frame, one try, one moment away from what is right?
What then?

As always, I’m in awe of your talent. If only you could channel this emotion into someone totally void of emotion, someone like oh…maybe…Thalon? Because he needs a serious “what if you don’t speak” moment….=P

Hey. I like stories about people being turned into giant bugs! I mean, I think. I’ve never read one before. But it’s got to be interesting…
The thing I don’t have an amazing attitude about is this: “The Metamorphosis has been read and interpreted in many ways–as an example of existentialist philosophy, a depiction of humanity’s condition in the modern world, a presentation of psychological neurosis, and a theological parable. Come to quad prepared to discuss these various interpretive possibilities. Write a sentence or two for each of these ideas.”
First, what the heck is existentialist philosophy?? And neurosis…um. I have neuritis in my foot…is it the same thing? O_o Heh. And I pretty much have no clue about the modern world. =D And as for theological parables…*looks up* …*looks waaaay up* …yep. It appears to be about four miles over my head…
