Pillar Of Salt

Looking ahead to choices that stalk
Lying in wait to capture my years
To every tomorrow my tired gaze travels
In spite of my hesitant, wavering fears

I yearn to look back to what used to be
But I am afraid that I will become
A pillar of salt, wife of disaster
Left behind, list’ning to history’s drum

A pillar of salt, frozen forever
Melted by rains, dissolving in storm
A pillar of salt, yesterday-gazing
Seeing only the past, a white staring form

^^ epic picture. <3

*looks skeptically at Luke* …one part sane…like one part out of how many? One out of like, three hundred? Then maybe you have a point…perhaps…

Bahaha. Seriously though. You don’t realize how important your siblings are until you are away from them.
